Of all the factory ammo I've tried (not just monos), my rifle loves the 140gr e-tips the best.
Savage LWH, 20" 1:9.5 twist 7mm-08. I hunted a couple seasons with them before the ammopocalypse of 2020+, when I moved to handloading and have been using Hammers.
Thankfully the factory 140s are back, and I picked up 3 boxes a few weeks ago. I'm keeping them safe until this fall since I likely won't be able to put a full handload together (I'm still gathering equipment) before the season starts. Sometime in late July I'll go get a proper zero and velocity data and report back on the specifics, but I think I was getting ~2750fps out of them.
Anyway, the one elk I managed to take dropped in 30 yards from a single double-lung ~70yd shot. Not exactly a tough job for a modern bullet, but it got the job done admirably nonetheless.
