Northern NM scouting

It’s almost that time! Wrapping up my scouting here in Northern NM for elk and mule deer..2nd rifle elk last rifle nov deer. burned about 35 miles of boot leather, figure getting two tags as a non res deserves some scout time but man is it overwhelming, but in a good way I guess. Watching all the outfitters claiming their stakes all over in preparation for first rifle was interesting to say the least, almost looks like a circus. If anyone here has hunted this part or is about too and want to compare notes feel free to PM me. For all others best of luck as rifle season opens up!

Were you close to Chama in unit 4 ?? Usually a large showing of hunters in the Humphries and Sargent WMA.
