Northern Missouri youth deer

Just looking for some friendly advice. I am taking two youth hunters into Missouri for youth deer next weekend. Areas we are considering Emmitt and Leah conservation area, Grand pass CA. I also threw around the idea of hunting the Army corp ground by the Missouri River, Brickyard hill. Curious on people thoughts about these areas and/or problems in these areas that I can’t see as we will not have time to scout. My kids and I don’t mind grinding on public land. They are used to a lot of miles, I’m also not asking for your spots just trying to get a local perspective on what I planning to do. Any help is welcome.
