North Idaho/ Montana Trip ( Pictures Added)

OK so the WA. trip seems to be taking shape , so lets see what might work for Another trip on the border area.
Lets see if mid to late June will work, Ross has offered some help in this area, and I have burned some boot leather on this ground also.
Revett Lake, Idaho, is up Thompson Pass way and also there is a Blossom lake, Montana . I believe there is a connecting trail for the 2 lakes .
Jerry( Vandal 44) has said he might do both trips if possible
What do you guys think?

Depending on the date I'm in. The last weekend in June is out for me, have two kids playing in hoopfest. Been to Revett and Blossom, both would be great.

Ryan is there a trail connecting the 2 lakes? I was told years ago they were working on a trail to connect them.
Have you hiked between the 2 or just in and out to each?

Randy

Has anyone been up Scotchmen Peak outside of Clark Fork? If anyone is interested in some vert this is a great day hike and overlook of Lake Pend Oreille.....

Trail head is 4 miles outside of Clark Fork and easy to find.......beautiful view of the cabinets and Pend Orielle

This is off the Pillick Ridge/same divide as Scotchman and slightly inside of MT before the Bull River looking back at Billiard Table and Scotchman is off my right shoulder though difficult to see.
This is looking across Bull River into Cabinets themselves.

That looks like a good one, probably won't run into any mountain muffins up there.

Ross, I went up their last summer. Nice area!

Ridgernr, I don't think they ever built that trail.

Hey Ross that's my home stomping grounds! Cool pics. If a Scotchman hike is in the works, I might b game depending on timing. I've been wanting to do the Scotchmans for a while.

Scotchman sounds good lets shoot for that since everyone seems game,
As for dates how about June 15th or June 22.

the 15th should work for me and the remaining snow will add to the hike:) prob just a dayhike for me
