Howdy, y’all! After a long search for archery options around Cumming GA without much luck, I decided to create one myself.
I recently invested in a few thousand dollars’ worth of Rinehart 3D and block targets and set up an awesome archery range in my backyard. Now, I’m excited to share it with friends by hosting archery “fun shoots”!
These gatherings are meant to be relaxed and enjoyable, with an array of targets to shoot from up to 110 yards. I’ve also set up a saddle platform and climbing stand for those who want to practice high-angle shots. Think of it as more of a “Total Archery Challenge” than a competitive 3D match.
For now, it’s field points only—no crossbows, please. Down the line, I may add some options for broadheads. While the range is geared toward hunting practice, anyone with a bow is welcome!
To help maintain and expand the range, I’m suggesting a $20 contribution for each session. If that’s not doable, don’t let it stop you from coming—my goal is to recoup the setup costs and, eventually, make it entirely free.
If you’re interested, just let me know, and I’ll send you the link to the Facebook group/invite and my address.
