Hello fellow hunters! I'm new to posting in this forum but not new to hunting and reading here. As I have been able to do more western hunting in the last few years i've found this site as a good source of information to help find success on the mountain! Archery Whitetails in the southeast have always been a passion then came turkeys and ducks and now western big game has carved out a spot for my PTO. I enjoy the gear prep and anticipation of a big game hunt almost as much as the grind in the wilderness. Last year I got to return to Alaska(Lived there in 2010) and harvest my first blacktail deer in the alpine of Prince of Whales Islands and I cannot wait to return to the last Frontier!!
