Too many commercials, great photography/videography. Only bad part is that it is on at the same time as Ice Cold Gold. Seems that the ICG guys are a little better than the Gold Rush boys. Looking forward to more of the North America series.

I enjoyed it but as was already mentioned there were a lot of commercials. I did manage to fall asleep when the second episode came on but I set the DVR so I can watch it with the kids later.

I missed it and need to catch it on DVR. The teaser looked awesome though. Great photography/videography it what I saw in the teaser. I recognized some of the locations/shots from some some other photographer sites so I'm also interested in seeing the credits and such and how the series breaks out.

I just happened to be at a friends house last night and caught it. I enjoy those shows, some of the shots those guys get are simply amazing. Loved watching the fox diving through the snow.

im always reserved about these shows. at some point there going to bring up global warming and then how great wolves and there reintroduction are. if they could ever make a wildlife doc with out politicizing it I would be so happy. I havne t seen this one yet but I will probably watch it. any Al Gore view points brought up on it yet?

None that I saw. I didn't see every minute of it, but what I did see seemed pretty much focused on biology and science with a bit of storytelling thrown in. I didn't feel any agendas were being pushed.

They showed a clip of wolves taking down a calf caribou. Talked about how they are natural killers and what not. Actually did not shed any good light on them. I was kinda surprised.

Great series! Glad to see someone portray the real ups and downs of wildlife/ nature on television.

What about the wood bison scene in Canada? Seemed that the wolves worked pretty hard on that one calf. I would say that the balance was semi-reasonable, not completely wolf-lover.
