Haven't shot a lot of animals, but the 6.5 Creedmoor is putting down hogs with the Norma Bondstrike, instant kills...pound for pound, these hogs are probably one of the toughter animals in North America.

We aim behind the ear, but we are shooting at night time, so we do the best we can. Thick brush, so if they run off, we can't find them, deep south Texas

I've been wanting to find a good shoulder shot round that'll get through the plate for the big ones that I want to keep the skull on so was curious.

I bought serveral boxes of 300 WSM bondstrike back when Covid first hit because I just wanted the brass and the price diff was only a few bucks more for loaded 180 gr bondstikes. I was really impressed they shot .5-.75 MOA. They performed similar to accubonds. Also shot really fast out of mine about 300WSM over what the box said

@bojangles808, what did you end up with for a G7 to get you trued at 700?
I just tweaked the MV. I started with the 2740 MV and .313 g7 on the norma site to get started (with strelok) and was good at 500 but a click low at 600. so I used the strelok traj validation to get 2701 MV and then once I did that I was able to hit 600 and 700 consistently.

I did the same thing during covid. I'm curious what MV you got out of your rifle and what barrel length?

I'm getting 3122 MV out of my Tikka superlite. Barrel was slightly shortend for a brake so roughly 22"

I would say that is pretty good. I bought 5 boxes in November 2022 to break in a tikka superlite. I started at 2930 and to date through 70 rounds am running 2975 ish now.

It’s a 24inch proof barrel. I averaged 3130 which I was suprised to see. If I remember the box says 3080.
I now shoot Berger 190 VLD, 60.4 gr H4350.

I thought it was pretty good and maybe my chronograph was broken but it was pretty true out to 600yd

Yah I think it was around there. Would have to look at the box again.

shot a small buck too. about 100 yds. he went maybe 20 yards. entry lung, exit was out the offside shoulder pass thru
what kind of bloodtrails/tracking jobs are you guys getting? I shot another deer yesterday at 212 with my 6.5 cm and like the previous deer no blood however this one didn't go down close and I couldn't find him. he was slightly quartering away i thought he staggered at first thinking I made a good shot and it distracted me enough I screwed up by not getting a backup shot in him before he trotted off. it was a decent downward angle and I suppose I could have yanked it but I don't know it was pretty close. my scope and and dialing were all on what they should have been. thinking these bonded bullets just go in and out retaining weight and that's why I'm not seeing much blood? I think I might switch to eld match for more upsetting, it's usually pretty thick where I hunt but not this time. this was in some low grass rocks, dirt and should have been easy to spot blood but nada. pretty baffled and sick about it.

Anybody knows any places where these 300 WSM norma bond strike bullets are available. I desperately need 3 boxes for a trip...
