As stated they are slow, in my 300wsm Federal premium was 100fps faster than bondstrike and both were as accurate as each other. FYI I have a 19in barrel, bonstrike went 2750 and the accubond went 2850.

Man, goes to show how different barrels have much different results. 20” barrel on my 300WSM and I got 2,900 with the Norma Bondstrike. And very good accuracy.

I haven’t fired that exact load, but Norma brass is exceptionally good. It’s the only brass I’ve found that allows multiple loadings when I recreate MK 248 Mod 1 300 win….Uber hot 220gr Sierra.

My estimation with a 20" barrel is that I'll get 2,900fps with their 300WSM. Review attached below of a test in Sweden, trued the B.C. to be .530, not .615. If I hit 2,900 with a G1 of .530 that's a 900 yard Elk round.

Tikka's have slow barrels but those are some big velocity discrepancies. Are those chronoe'd numbers, or velocity-adjusted truing numbers you guys are using?

Has anyone trued the BC on this cartridge and pulled a good number? Specifically the 180gr .30cal.

Mine was chrono at a range by the range owner. I just got a lab radar and I have more of both rounds and a few new toys to go test so I will have more info In a month or so. Might add my rifle was not clean it had been in feild for wks.

Any updated experience with the Bondstrikes? For factory 300WSM loads the market is limited to either the 180gr Bondstrike or the 180gr Hornady CX, both of which have very little feedback.

The bondstrike perform well on game they are just a bit slower than advertised. I have a box of the hcx but no shots yet.

I haven't shot any game with it yet, but shooting at the range has resulted in 0.5 MOA 100 yard groups out of a PROOF cf barrel. Shooting out to 600 yards shows that the bc and velocity others posted above are pretty close. I think 0.530 G1 BC is about right. I'm also calculating about 2900 fps on a 20" barrel.

My problem with the CX bullets is they are limited to about 2000 fps impact velocity for reliable expansion (per Hornady). This limits it to about 470 yards (in my rifle). The bondstrike is good to 725 yards for a 1800 fps impact.

That is exactly what I was thinking I'd be at ballistically, I have a Shilen 20" 300WSM barrel coming and that BC/velocity seems to be consistent. I haven't seen many examples of terminal ballistics on animals but being a bonded, lead core, tipped 180gr round I'm thinking it's probably going to be a performer down to maybe 1800-1900fps.

I picked up the 6.5 143 bondstrike, will shoot this weekend. The advertised bc appears to be a tad optimistic. Pictured

I'd like to see Bryan Litz get some of these and measure them out and see what BC he comes up with but I think they actually may be fairly close to their advertised BC
