Nice birds. Wherever your at produces a lot of good birds! Nothing like smoking a gobbler with a bow sans blind.

I'm hunting without a blind on the edge of woods/picked corn field. Several times I have been busted by moving from the birds coming in behind me, silently. How do you avoid that? My decoys are 5-8 yards (recurve) but no birds will come in except young hens. Earlier I had my head cranked like The Exorcist and got dizzy enough where I nearly upended Chair One. I'm all ears, Slayer...

Brandon, can you post a pic of you (your camo), your sitting position in the woods? It's hard to say but it could be your camo not blending, your sitting in the open, not blending, movement, several things.. Also by your pic if you get more realistic decoys (I prefer DSD) the birds will commit to them, be more locked on to the deeks, get more tunnel vision to the deeks and come in right to the deeks. Your deeks will work for the right hot bird once in a while but I prefer more consistent decoy interaction. This also depends on setup location and birds attitude. When birds aren't locked on to the decoys and they look like yours (don't take offense) their senses are still on alert more for danger and not solely on the deeks. also movement will end a hunt quicker than anything else... When birds are close gotta be still. Feel free to respond with more questions as I'm willing to help out.
