Long story short the first week i wasnt seeing the deer i was after due to hot temps and full moon. A few days ago i found a group of bucks hammering acorns on a ridge and strategically placed a stand in the same oaks the next day. First sit a great 3x4 came right in to the oaks and after a head on freeze-off he turned at 18 yards and i punched tag #1. buck went 50 yards and was dead in 15 seconds. Im pumped to fill tag #1 with this buck... Callm what ya want but he has an all 'black'tail, hes 4 year old buck that weighs 130ish on the hoof, ear spread of 18- 20" ... That you cant change as hes all mine and im very happy with him!
