On a similar but different vein than my other pants post, what are some brands that aren't baggy, but also aren't snug around the quads/thighs? I have some Kings Camo Draft pants that I'm not displeased with, but that fit a little too snug in the thighs (and have a tapered leg) that make the pants a little bit of an odd fit for around-town " use. The First Lite 308 looks and sounds in reviews to be a little bit roomier in the thighs and that appear to be a pair of pants that can be worn frequently, but what are some others that are worth looking into?

Kings Ridge pants are a little more flared at the bottom and fit a little looser. Sportsman’s Warehouse has a store brand called Killik that makes some good softshell/water resistant pants, and they’re cost effective too. Might be worth looking into.

Buy First Lite if you want to look like a toddler with a full diaper 100% of the time IME. Loved the feel of my first lite obsidian pants, but the crotch sagged like an early 2000’s rapper.

I’ve been pleased with the Black Ovis Granite Peak pants, if you’re patient you can find them on camofire often enough

Sitka traverse, at least mine than are a few years old aren’t skinny fitting
I’ll agree with this, don’t know if they’ve updated- but mine are a couple of years old. Roomy and slightly tapered. Plenty long.
Also have the Kuiu guide pant. Nice for when the temps drop. Fleece lined.

The $24.00 wrangler synthetic pants are the ticket. I have been trying to kill them for a long time now. Good fit, great product and a price that's unbelievable.

I'm with you RSpeer, but I also want some deeper pockets. Why did they stop making men's pants? Men carry knives, keys, maybe a small flashlight, a pocket gun now a cell phone and wallet all in their front pockets. Why are the manufacturers trying to womanize us?

Even relaxed fit jeans are tight on me. Kuiu attacks aren't. Sitka intercept/apex aren't either.
