I just went through this process and ended up getting a mountain hardwear lamina 15. It's a new design this year, so not alot of reviews but it looks like a solid bag. I haven't used it yet, so not alot of help there. I'm 6 foot and got the regular. It's a little smaller width wise than I'm used to, but acceptable.
I just used this bag (new Lamina 15) on a 10-day wilderness hunt in CO. It was money. I slept myself dry at least 3 times. Had a soft freeze and a hard freeze and I was plenty warm. I add about 13 degrees for my comfort rating on these bags. Zipper is high quality and doesn't stick too bad. This model is LONG. The extra length version (which I got) goes to like 92" or something crazy. I slept every night with my isobutane fuel canister at the bottom and my feet didn't even touch it.

I've had an old Slumberjack Everest Elite 0 degree bag that's had a lot of use. Haven't lost any fingers or toes yet due to frostbite. The biggest difference in warmth isn't the bag at all. It's the pad or insulation from the cold ground if you will. Whatever you get, I wouldn't hesitate to pair it up with a nice pad, rated with some good "R" value. I'd also get a bag rated "below" the temps you expect.
