Got my Dead Air Nomad TI XC out of jail yesterday, and wow!! The only other suppressor I own is a Omega 300. It’s a great can,but I wasn’t expecting that much of a difference.

I will say I am running the brake on the Omega. So I need to change end caps to give it a fair comparison. Another thing I noticed is the Nomad is way hotter then the Omega after one shot.

I have a Ti XC in jail now.
Have been working on getting all the Muzzle devices for it to be able to put it on other rifles.

Have also thought about getting the Ebrake for it as well.
Any one know how much that helps?

I have the e brake on my setup I use for NRL Hunter. It’s pretty subtle to tell you the truth, but helpful for spotting impacts.

Recoil X gen 2 brake is going to give you the most recoil reduction of the options i'm familiar with.

Just finished my a pig hunt using the Nomad XC Ti. Very pleased. Noise reduction was impressive. Like the light weight ad didn't heat up much after 5-6 quick shots.

Just go with the RecoilX Gen 2.

One nice thing about the Nomad series is that they do really well on magnums. The lead engineer for DA used to spend some time on ARFCOM and he stated in a few threads that the Nomad's design was especially efficient as the gas load increased in larger cartridges. With my Original Nomad and Nomad TI I've found this to be the case using them on hosts like my 18" 300 WSM, 17" .280 AI and my current 19" 7mm PRC.

Some other can designs, like some of the higher flow cans don't do so hot on magnums. My B&T Print-x RBS sounds pretty similar to my Nomads on my .308 SFAR, and is way lower backpressure, but the difference side by side on my 7mm PRC was amazing, with the Nomad blowing the B&T out of the water sound and recoil wise.
