Has anyone by chance had a chance to use a Nomad LT suppressor?
I'm torn between it, the Ultra 9 Gen 2, and CGS Hyperion

Do you have a suppressor currently?I’m between the LT and Ti the shorter length would be nice hunting the longer LT would be better at the range. I keep going back in forth.
I just went and purchased the TI I will get the LT next. I was tired of weighing the options and wanted to get on the wait list. Not all the hunting I do is in blinds or timber a lot of hog hunting off a ranger so being able to move the gun around is very important. That why I went with the shorter can to start off any sound suppression is better than shooting with a brake lol. Thanks for the info this will definitely not be my last suppressor.Well I went ahead and ordered the LT yesterday, I was looking hard at the ultra 9 gen 2 as well but after talking with a major suppressor dealer I decided the recent QC issues with TBAC wasn't worth it.
Apparently they had to send all of them back and some had tobe completely scratched requiring new serial numbers and long ass waits.
Currently looking at 12 months of backlog
F that noise.

I recently got a Banish 30 cuz I was torn on a 7 vs 9 inch configuration and it can be configured at both lengths.
It sounds freaking awesome at 9" on my 16" 6.5 saum, and 24" 30 nosler.
I tried it in the 7" configuration and its way way louder, I honestly doubt I'd ever run it that short, but its nice to have the option I guess..
I was in the market for another and since max suppression is what I'm after the LT made sense.
My view is that if length is a concern get a short barreled rifle for hunting timber or blinds, and go 22-24"on your LR hunting setup.
The extra suppression is totally worth it in my opinion

Yeah I spoke to a guy at silencer shop and he'd tested both. He said in his opinion the LT was just as quiet as the Hyperion and the tone was better.Just saw your thread OP and got excited when you mentioned the Hyperion. Everything I've seen about them seems to be positive, out of curiosity was there anything that pushed you away from that can? It's got a prominent spot on my wish list and CGS makes some really cool stuff in general.

He really didn't have a reason to sway me one way or the other since they had both in stock.
Also the weight and length favored the LT
His opinion was not wrong. Thunderbeast tested a bunch of the larger 1.5+ diameter cans. This data is copy pasted from SnipersHide. The Nomad is probably the lightest one of that bunch and the quietest.Yeah I spoke to a guy at silencer shop and he'd tested both.
