I know there's a small amount of info floating around the forums on this, but wanted to bring it to the top. With all the talk of Sitka, Kifaru, etc...does anyone have any info or experience with the Nomad brand? In some quick research, it looks like quality clothing at a reasonable cost. Would love to hear some feedback.

I have one of the original windproof softshell sets. I forget what model it is, but the knees are reinforced with a nylon material and the jacket is a pullover. I would call it a true midweight softshell. It has been very durable (PA mountain hunting in laurel) and is quiet. I am interested in first hand feedback of their new gear, some of the pieces look to have a lot of potential at half the cost of sitka.

I recently bought the Nomad Dunn 2.0 Primaloft jacket and pants at Gabes for dirt cheap. Very nice stuff. jacket was $49 and pants were $39. Retail was close to $450.....I'm pretty stoked.

It’s good quality stuff for stand hunting or where weight and packability are less of a concern. At least what little I’ve tried. If available on a discount it’s great but I don’t think I’d choose it over FL or Kuiu at full price or if I was trying to go light. They’re a sponsor for a TV show I work for, part time - full disclosure.

I've bought 3 sets for my boy in the last 3 years. This year it was the harvester series. The quality is outstanding regardless of price. Stops wind, keeps him dry, good zippers, well thought out pockets. I cant think of one complaint with any of their products that I've purchased and would have no qualms wearing Nomad myself.20191114_062740.jpg

Last year I purchased the elevated scrape bibs and coat. I absolutely love them. They are designed for cold weather and are very quite with great pockets.
