Nomad foliage color

While looking at the Kifaru website and comparing the DT2 and the Nomad the foliage looks totally different. On the DT2 the foliage looks olive / green which I like. The foliage on the Nomad looks gray which I do not like. So...in person does the Nomad foliage look more gray or olive? Thanks.

I have a Zippy, a Nomad, and a Bikini frame, all in Foliage. I love the color! Your question is difficult to answer. It is a color that is in between gray and olive, really. To my eye it is more green (olive) than gray. I used to have a G2 Longhunter in OD. Take the old OD and fade it several shades, and you have the Foliage. That is the best I can do, and likely have done you no good!

There are definitely different shades. I had an older grabit that was darker than other stuff. Still though, it isn't that bad when all together.

The pack will be behind you when you wear it, so it shouldn't mater too much if it is a greyish green or a greenish grey.

The shades vary lot to lot. My long hunter lid is more green and my T1 bag less so. I'd talk to kifaru and see how it's running. Personally , I like the more gray foliage. Either way the lots are close and the color is a great choice.

Here's a picture I took a while ago comparing the shades:

On the left is a 1000d olive drab mollex, top center is a 500d foliage koala pocket, bottom center is a 500d foliage organizer, right is a 1000d foliage scout.
You can see the organizer really looks gray. Especially when I put it on my OD gear. I chalk the color inconsistencies up to Kifaru having a bunch of sewers using different batches of material. The organizer and koala pocket were ordered at the same time from Kifaru.
