Catch and Release.
I have shot this release in the tension activated mode. Functions flawlessly.
The nylon strap does show sign of friction / heat contact. I believe this was done from not securing the two allen head screws properly to clamp the strap to prevent the slipping of the strap. I do not feel as if there is any strength or integrity issue.
