I have some custom made BE Rampages that came with Easton X Nocks.

The nocks are pretty tight. A little too tight. I was thinking about having the bow store re-serve my bow but then I just started thinking maybe I could just buy a dozen nocks that are a hair looser and call it a day.

The arrow ID is .204 and I'm looking at the GT Accu-tough nocks, Bohning A nock, and the BE R nocks.

Does anyone happen to know if any of these have a little bit looser throat size than the X nock? Or maybe I should run a uni bushing and a g-size nock?

When I run into tight nocks, I'll just heat up some water on the stove, dip the knock for a few seconds, put it on the string to spread, then take it off and give it a small pinch.

Then I'll check for tension and do it again if not quite right.

Just get your nock area reserved. It's standard practice when getting arrows with new nocks and is going to take way less time then trying to find different nocks that fit your current string or trying to remold every one if then in hot water. Just my 2 cents.

Reserving is the quickest and cheapest of you dont have a draw full of nocks on hand to try out. Personally I like x nocks and the BEA R nocks been decent as well

The R nocks have been really tight for me. X nocks are alright but I really prefer bohning A nocks and believe they have a little looser fit. Send me your address and I’ll drop a few in an envelope so you can try them.
