No excuses bullet on game performance

Have you shot an animal this year with your NE bullet? I would love to hear how they performed!

I wasn't fortunate enough to touch one off on elk this year. I carrried the 420GRN with 90 grains of 777 and a wonder wad. They have been grouping well for me with the new williams western precision sight through my CVA optima.

Please list your rifle, powder choice, charge, range, and blood trail! I want to see some muzzy success photos.

Not this year but a couple of years ago I killed a buck with my Knight Mountaineer .45 1-20”. 460 grain no excuse pushed by 80 grains bh209 and a wool wad. Perfect double lung broadside shot at about 75 yards. He drunken stumbled across a field for about 100 yards. You could see the blood pumping out of both sides as he was walking away.

460 50 cal at my max range. Couldn’t get closer as the brush got worse. Complete pass through.

I used 300gr sabots No Excuses in Nebraska a couple weeks ago.
90gr of Pyrodex P - CVA Wolf

Shot was 80yds and that bullet went thru her like butter

1st shot spider her and folded her like a taco.
2nd shot was perfect thru both shoulders and lungs at 100 yard and that is the bullet I recovered.

Awesome. Congrats on some great muzzleloader kills guys. This is the stuff I want to see more of! Lets see more elk experiences with NE bullets! I want to see more elk!

460 NE bullet over 90 grains 777 no wad. Shot was about 12-14 yards. Shot knocked him off his feet and he rolled, got up and ran downhill about 50 yards. LT picture is the entrance hole

This is my average 50 yard group. I intend to try a wad to see if it improves anything?
