Nikon Monarch 3's ..

So I've had two of these for ever , 4 x 16 x 42's SF , and at first they were great . I had both of them on a 7mm RM . Then they both stopped holding POI . One would walk to the right and the other was all over .
I knew Nikon quit making scopes , but I called them anyway , and ended up sending them back to get repaired .
Will they come back fixed ? Or are they just used up ?
