Selling as I mostly do backpack bow hunting and don't want to lug around. Scope is an angled Nikon Fieldscope III ED 82mm and is in MINT condition. Look up reviews if aren't aware of them; older but have great glass. Eyepiece is 25-56X. The tripod ball head isn't locking these days, still moves, just doesn't lock like it should when you release the handle. Looking for $950 + shipping. Local pickup if in the Denver area.

For you guys who don't have BTX type pockets, this setup will bring you 90+% of what the big German names will with the wide angle eyepiece.

What Wrench said... I haven't run these against Swaro's but that it what I had read before I got them and they are impressive.

These scopes will out resolve any of the German scopes with the exception of the newest atx/btx/stx with an 85 or bigger objective. The only gripe I ever had is the zoom eyepiece isn’t very comfortable. It didn’t seem to affect the quality of the image, but wasn’t as comfortable as larger eyepieces for extended viewing sessions. I’ve compared against Swaro sts/ats and Leica and zeiss scopes, and the Nikon was easily the best for pure image quality. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the input, appreciate it!
