For sale is a well loved original Nikon High Grade 10x42 roof prism binocular. I am the original owner of these and purchased them about 15ish years ago. When purchased, I considered them the finest binocular made, and not much has changed since then. I’ve compared them to many alpha binos over the years and they have always held their own. They are a tad heavy by today’s standards at 34.5oz., but imagine that weight as the heft of quality. These also won’t win any beauty contest with one of the emblems missing and the remaining one a tad crumpled, but that will just make them less likely to be stolen. The rest of the body is in good condition considering their age. There is some minor scratches on the right objective lens(I’m sure from trying to clean them and I tried to show the damage in a picture) but I cannot see that it affects optical performance in any way. The rest of the lens look good with typical wear from use. I have the box, which is crumpled, the owners Manuel, and the original case and neck strap which are unused. These are a wonderful optical instrument and they deserve to be used. All this could be yours for the bargain price of $425 TYD. PayPal or Venmo preferred but all reasonable forms of payment considered. Feel free to ask questions or if you would like any more photos of anything specific.

I used a pair of these my first year elk hunting. They are superb glass. I'd put them ahead of Vortex Razor and possibly even the new Monarch HG. They really are a pleasure to spend time behind. This was Nikon's "alpha" glass at the time, and they are still very, very good. Someone would be getting a great deal here.

Yeah, I looked through them again today, and the view is still beautiful. And these binos are solid and built to last.

They certainly are. If mine had been able to take a 1/4x20 tripod stud, I never would have sold them. I literally glassed with them for hours on end with zero eye strain and a perfect image.

These binos are a little overweight and not the most attractive on the outside. But they are beautiful on the inside and when you come home after work, they hand you a beer, turn on a football game and give you some appetizers while you’re waiting for dinner to be ready. Not to mention these binos are a tiger in bed. And let’s be honest, as we get older, that’s what we are all really wanting in a bino, right?
