One think im waiting to see if if they slimline the scopes, i have an nx8 but its so bulky i dont take it very much because a lot of the slip hunting i do the turrets snag on everthing.

Im also hoping the 3-18 has low profile turrets and a smaller overall frame compared to the nx8

The SHV line literally stands for Shooter, Hunter, Varmiter. It’s going away along with the NXS so I’d venture to guess they are being consolidated into something like the Trijicon Credo/Credo HX

That was me. If they went to 30mm format, they could easily hit 27. 25oz would need some titanium or maybe a switch to 7075 from 6061 so they could thin out the tube. It could be done, they would just have to be convinced of the demand.

You do realize there is a significant downside to packing hi zoom erectors into compact scope tubes?

I understand everything is a compromise but not having massive turrets that snag on everything would be epic.
I find the biggest downside with a lot of my hunting to the nx8 line is the bulkiness and im fingers crossed this is reduced.

Then you should try an SWFA, you’ll love those turrets.

I know someone out there is holding the spec sheet! Stop holding out on us. How about tube size or objective sizes? 2-12 a 42mm? 3-18 a 44mm? How about the 4-24? Anyone have any other info like capped windage (no brainer), locking turret (unlikely), or any other noteworthy innovation? FOV upgrades? We’re hungry for more.
