Im looking at buying a NF scope but I noticed that the inspection sticker is not signed. I have never seen a NF scope without a signature on there so now Im wondering if this is a fake NF scope, or just a a lazy inspector. Either way, I have to find out if NF would continue to warranty it. Has anyone else seen a non signed inspection sticker?

I guess I assumed NF wanted them on for warranty purposes but it makes sense that they could verify based on the serial number.

It is absolutely a generic knock off. As a NF representative, it’s my job to collect all fake NF products. I’ll PM you my mailing address, send it to me ASAP for verification. If found to be a knock off product, I’ll advise you of next steps.

I couldn’t send that to a stranger and just wait. No, I am not a rep. If it counts for anything I lived very close to the factory for 8yrs though. I have 4. All were signed.
If it’s incredibly clear, if when you pick it up it feels like you could hit an assailant with it in the side of the head and put him down flat on his ass, and when you shoot, the 20moa sub tension test is perfect… then you have yourself a NF with no signature on the label. I wouldn’t worry too much.

The signature on my stickers faded and disappeared after a hunting season.

Why do people leave those on the scope? Reminds me of flatbill hats with the tags still in them

Very true but Ive never owned a NF so I thought that there was something important about that sticker. So far it sounds like its just a fashion statement.
