Not the OP, but curious which reticle is preferred for mixed terrain? From dark timber to open clear cuts and breaks?

I have two of the baby ATACRs, one in MIL-C and one in MIL-R. The MIL-R is a better hunting reticle to my eyes and is a little more usable at low light without illumination compared to MIL-C. If you can, compare them side by side before you buy.

I was leaning towards the Mil-R but some like the Mil-C.
