I am selling a new Cooper Backcountry Model 92 in .300 Winchester Magnum. I posted this up February 2022 and couldn't part with it. I sent it back to Cooper for Cerakote and barrel shortening (21"). It has never been fired outside of Cooper! I have mounted a scope and there is a 1/2" area of marring under the objective which I am struggling to photograph (see picture)--this is not visible with a scope mounted.
The test targets look great. Two targets came from the dealer at the time of purchase. The first was after it was manufactured. Many of these rifles were serviced by Cooper for bolt de-cocking, hence the second group which was in the box when I bought it. The third target came after Cooper Cerakoted it and shortened the barrel.
At purchase the factory paint was imperfect near the bolt with a couple of flecks, but they touched it up when it was Cerakoted.
Included in the sale are:
1. 30mm Talley rings/bases
2. Thread protector
3. Manual, original box, warranty card and test targets
4. Factory Cerakoted Warne bases
$3,200 net to me. I'll ship to your FFL. I am not interested in trades.
