NHL Playoffs posts

Middleton looked lost last night.

Wild cant seem to hold the puck much.

What's the betting line on Avs running the table to hoist the cup?

Wild no chance with their injuries

Vegas v ducks will be interesting...

Montreal no chance

Philly no chance, they're all chirped out after the battle of PA.

Canes are putting on a clinic. Going to have a giant gap between rounds.

Happy that we have the threat of an actual series in CO/MN. Wouldn't hate it for MN hockey and basketball to dispatch a Denver team and a TX team in the first couple rounds. Not looking favorable for either though!

Lots of good hockey on.

I fully support this message. Go wild!

Well that was a kick in the nuts. Wild are almost cooked
Ive never seen a team lose as many puck battles and clearing attempts 10ft from the blue line. And weak clearing attempts like on the gane winning goal. Wild dman had almost 20ft os separation and somehow managed to get rushed throwing the puck uo the boards.

I got a call offering good wild tickets less than 2 hrs before puck drop last night. Haven't been to a wild game in person for a few years but went to a lot of games when the franchise was new and i was a teenager through 20-something. Maybe I was just hammered at all those games in my younger years and remember wrong but the crowd seemed significantly more involved than last night in a 2nd round playoff game vs a division foe.

Pretty sad execution last night. Seemed to be lots of uncaused turnovers and just holes in sticks. Avs did a good job in neutral zone and wild couldn't generate much.. Huggy and Fabes looked good but gassed. Bogo looked like he was hurting bad.

Main positive thought, Faber is a freaking stud. Cant get over how lucky wild are to have gotten the rights to him + a 1st round pick for Fialla who they couldn't afford to pay because of parise/suter cap hits. Guess you've gotta hit on some trades because the jiricek trade damn sure wasn't a win.

I think they are cooked. Would be happy to be wrong but they seem defeated, worn out, and are missing some pieces.

Was a hell of a fun team to watch play this year. I can recall a time when it wasn't rare for them to not have a single 30 goal scorer for the season. Completely different animal with Thrilla, Boldy, and Hughes on the squad.

God i hope they get Hughes to re sign him and Faber are fun to watch. Im worn out staying up late watching play offs. With them and the wolves

Would be great to keep him around for sure. Would be a lot easier if we weren't on the hook for $17m to #97 for so long. Kirill is a great player but there are quite a few forwards in the league getting paid a lot less that I'd take over him. Hopefully a rising salary cap lessens the sting.

Would sure like to find a way to keep big Mac on the roster too. He's been a good get but I think unrestricted free agent after the season.
