Hey guys, fng from NH here. I’m a lifelong freshwater and saltwater fisher(wo)man and first in my family to get the urge to hunt and trap. A few years ago I was taking a tracking course through my college and it sparked my interest in hunting so I signed up for hunters ed by myself. I’m trying to learn the ropes by getting out into the woods with more seasoned folks as often as possible, reading books and articles, and listening to podcasts. I’m just looking to gear up for bow season this year and pick up some tips from you guys so that hopefully this year I can get my first whitetail. -A

Welcome aboard. Good group of people in the area. I'm just north of Boston, but work in Hampton. Check out the NE Chapter of BHA - I help out some and there's a mentoring program too.
