Never fondled one, looking online appears to have mini 1 MOA marks between the larger 2 MOA marks. My right eye ain't the best after several old injuries. Wondering from anyone who has one if you can tell me how visible are these little mini marks between the 2 MOA hashes?

If it matters I only care about max power at 10x and this would be a SFP scope (dunno if they even make it in FFP.

I've searched up plenty of threads discussing the center cross but nothing for the tree.

Not the SHV but have the NXS Compact with that reticle and so far I like it just fine. I've been using it a couple years plus one of the discontinued mil-dot reticle scopes. All work just fine for my 62 year old eyes (y)

Is the reticle in general pretty usable in low light? I assume the duplex is quite a bit bolder?

There will likely be a bunch of posts telling you in dark timber you can't see it and it will cost you a shot. I'll say I guess I'm lucky since the reticle has never caused a problem for me - so far anyway. I hunt mostly in Oregon and we get a lot of rainy grey and foggy days and its worked fine - is it the perfect reticle, no its not but considering everything else you get with a NF scope I can live with it.

I use the MOAR reticle on a couple SHVs and it's fine for most situations. I like it much more than the MIL-R reticle because the MOAR has a continuous line without gaps and simple hashes. Stadia to edges is thicker and easy to see.
