I am looking at these scopes for a LR rifle build that’s almost complete if I can sell this Razor HD 5-20x50 in the classifieds. The 5x on the low end of the Trij doesn’t really bother me, I typically set scopes around 4-6x for general stand hunting and for tighter/thicker stands I would take a different rifle. I want the 20x+ high end for punching paper and long range practice. The NX8 seems so polarizing to so many, and Trijicon seems to be universally loved. I can find the trijicon several hundred dollars cheaper also. FWIW, I would want the F1 MOA models of each.

I have both and love them both. I prefer the reticle on the trijicon because of the floating center dot personally. To my eye the NX8 does beat the trijicon optically. It is noticeably more clear to me throughout the mag range. The trijicon seems to have a darker hue to it. I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

I use both, the NX8 and the Ten Mile. Both are excellent scopes. You can't go wrong with either of them, but as you have mentioned the Trijicon's are less expensive in price, but not in quality.
