Hey guys I have a Trijicon Huron 4-16x50 and absolutely love it. I’m looking for another scope for my next build and was wondering where to go if I want to keep the reliability and simplicity while upping the glass quality. I’m certainly not complaining about the glass quality of this scope but want to make the next step up. Keeping the capped turrets and the adjustable parallax are a must for me. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

If you want to keep capped turrets, probably this. In the same price range, and magnification range, I don't know what's getting better than what you have. As much as I like the Nightforce SHV scopes, I don't know that there's really THAT much of an improvement, glass wise. I'm comparing the 3-9 Huron to the 3-10 SHV. I think the 3-10 is a bit better though. If you want more ruggedness and don't mind more weight, the SHV 4-14 might be your thing.

You’re not gonna be blown away by the 4-14x SHV’s if comparing them to the 4-16x Huron. I think you might actually be disappointed as for $627 at EuroOptic, the value of the Huron can’t be beat. The biggest differences to me are the reticle choices the and availability of illumination if you want that. Glass is too close to edge one out over the other in my opinion.

Thanks all yeah the illumination does nothing for me and I like the simple reticle of the Huron so it’s looking like I’ll be buying a second thank you guys!
