Lil-Rokslider
Went and got fully set up with a portable press, homemade drawboard, levels and materials to restring my V3x. Everything was going well UNTIL i was adjusting my peep (RAD 38), and didn't press the bow to slide it up and down. Ended up partially cutting a string strand on each side and fraying pretty bad. 100% My fault, learn from my beginner mistake and always press the bow to install and adjust peeps!
Huge shoutout to the folks at GAS bowstrings though. I explained my mistake, and they helped out with a discounted string-only build so I don't have to be paranoid about blowing up my bow from some nicked strands. Other than the install errors on my end, what they built seems awesome. I still ended up shooting a bit before I noticed, and the strings and cables seemed to really settle in after only a few dozen shots.
