I grew up in the steep mountains of southern West Virginia before a move to central Virginia. Enjoy chasing whitetail and turkeys in the local national forests and wilderness areas. I went on a guided elk hunt in Idaho in 2014 and it left me wanting more! Honestly I felt like I wasted my money. I could have wandered the mountains without seeing elk on my own. I'm planning a dyi to Colorado this year. Any and all tips are appreciated! Love this site!
