Newbie from Oklahoma

Hey everybody! Been lurking around here since pretty close to the inception of rokslide, but finally joined up not that long ago. I pretty much have no experience with backpack hunting and that is why I read this forum. I have hunted out west several times, but all on private land and mostly antelope. I have learned a lot about the gear and tricks people use already, but am always willing to learn more.

Hey Colin welcome. Lots of backcountry hunters on here. The type like....Load your pack and go hit the wilderness for 4-7 days.......lots of good reading. In this type of hunting you not only become a better hunter but learn a little bit about yourself in the backcountry.
