Newbie from New Orleans

What's up everybody,

New guy from New Orleans here. Grew up hunting in West Texas for whitetail, and I am looking to get into big game hunting in the mountain west. I know I am a far way from that region, so any insight on getting started is helpful. Although I'm a virgin to big game hunting, I am a seasoned salt water inshore and offshore fisherman. Would love to trade some fishing wisdom for hunting wisdom. Let me know!
