hi guys. I've been a lurker for awhile now. just recently started spending a ton of time on here. love this place! so much info and great people!
I cant lie I am normally a bird hunter that bow hunted deer to fill the time in between duck hunts. however I've started to take the plunge into other animals like elk hunting. I've only ever had the chance to chase elk once but had a pretty big bull come into 10 yds. and couldn't get a shot due to it being to thick! but it was awesome having him bugle his face off just yds. from me! this next season one of my old Marine corps friends and I are planning to do some first time backpack hunts hopefully that is going to be a lot of fun.
