Looking to get the kiddo into a lefty rifle. Started shooting out good until last year when she couldn’t hit water if she fell out of a boat. Realized she’s become left eye dominant. All my rifles are righty. She’s 16 and has shot .270, 30-06 and .308. Looking for something in those calibers that won’t break the bank. Local scheels and other stores don’t have anything in stock and most of their online stuff is back ordered.

Thanks & good hunting!

I'm a lefty and wanted something inexpensive for the deer lease. I bought a Winchester XPR in 223. It is a really nice rifle for the money. Tikka-ish ergonomics and it has a bolt release that allows removal with the safety on, which is nice for kids. Trigger breaks clean as well.
Also, the model i got has a little heavier barrel and is threaded.
FWIW it shoots 75gr Hornady Match really well.

I have a lefty 7mm-08 x-bolt micro midas I might consider selling. PM me if you are interested.

I'm in the same boat and currently looking at either the XPR or Ruger American Predator. I've heard great things about the accuracy and reliability of the American, but I prefer the locking bolt and shorter barrel of the Suppressor Ready XPR. Would you recommend the Winchester over the Ruger?

Edit: Feel free ro message me if you don't want to clutter up the OP's thread
