Spartan Precision Equipment has listened to your requests and come out with that ultralight carbon tripod that has a central telescoping column to make height adjustments easier. We call this new tripod the Titan.

Since we're still a small company, we can respond to input and make changes to products to better suit your needs. Is there any features or changes that you wish your back-country tripod had?

What are the specs? Any chance of seeing you make a flip lever leg adjustment? Also, many backpack hunters always sit down to glass. How about a tripod using the skinnier leg sections to create a 3 foot tall sit down back packing tripod? I could always hang a bag of rocks from the center to add weight. Fatrascal.

Below are the Titan specs, which include the Davros Head.

We had the flip lever adjustments on our very first tripod called the Kapita. In really cold weather we could not get them to be as strong as we wanted. The new twist aluminum leg adjusters look deep in heavy, but the really just strong and ultralight. We wanted it to be able to support the weight of our boss Rob, which these new Tripods can do.

If you want a laugh, go to the 17 minute mark of this video to see the boss-man showing how strong the tripod is.

With the Sentinel tripod, I believe you can get close to accomplishing what you're referencing with the smaller sit down style tripod. You can unscrew the big legs and buy a set of mini mountain size legs to screw into the head because it's designed to be universal. Does that answer your question? Is that what you were thinking of?
