New trainer…getting weird now

Been burning powder and flinging lead in my muzzle loader trying to get some reps in for an upcoming mule deer hunt. Which quickly becomes unfortunately expensive with 4198 being $70/pound and Blackhorn being $180/pound before getting into bullets. So I decided to pick up a bolt action 22lr. On a whim I went by the local academy and asked them to match a price I found at a shop online that’s not too far from here, I’m still not 100% if it’s a brick and mortar or what, but they had a Ruger precision rimfire for $100 less than academy…well apparently they had just got in trouble for not selling enough guns, the guy called his manager over and the managers response was “f it they want us to sell more guns, let’s sell some more guns”

Anyway now I’m making an adapter to put a Williams globe on a mlok slot haha! Once I get that and a more vertical grip it should be a decent stand in at $0.08 a round

The muzzy is a full custom home made chassis as well (thread in the diy section somewhere), lots of 1 of 1 projects around here lol. Do not give me access to cool tool...The trainer is honestly about done, I need to drill and tap 3 holes in the adapter, bolt it on, and verify rear sight height. Thats a tomorrow afternoon project I think. Then its time to sling a lot of cheap lead from weird positions
