Just picked up a 24" Christensen Mesa from a friend.
Gun was a shooter with factory 147 ELDm Precision Match ammo.
But I want to load for it.
I do have some 147 ELDm bullets.
But, with the popularity of the Sierra TMK i am thinking of maybe going with the 130 TMK

Or possibly the 140 ELDm

For those that have done this how do you like the performance of the 130s and what are your load details for them Powder, Primer, case, etc

Others will be able to speak to the 130 tmk but I will state that the 147 eldm is in my opinion and many others ...one of the gold standards for 6.5 offerings. It's absolutely lethal and is all I send down the tube for my 6.5 PRC anymore. I'm happy with RL26 and N565 but n565 is the most accurate with great velocity to boot

This past week shot some of the 143ELDx out out of my buddy's 6.5PCR and killed 2 deer.
Both perfect shots but they ran about 60 yards in the brush. Found the deer easily but the runner part could have been bad as it was down in the FL panhandle and its thick there.
Was not overly impressed with the ELDx at all.

I have about 300 ELDm in 147 I can run. But wanted to also try something else as well like the 130s

I'm going to try and pick up some N565 soon for this thing. They started selling it at Bass Pro and Cabelas and doesn't seem like a lot around here use it much as there is always piles of it at the store. Think ill buy a few jugs of it as ill be shooting the PRC a lot
