I’m just getting into hunting this year. I’ve picked out a Tikka t3x lite in .308. I will be deer hunting in the south and just some extended plinking at the range, around 500 yards. I come from the ar background world and have mostly familiarity with red dots, however I recently purchased a atacr 1-8. I read the optic reviews including the drop tests, but would just like a little point in the right direction.

I’ve narrowed it down from prior threads and it seems positive reviews to
-Trijicon tenmile 3-18
-Nightforce atacr 4-16 truly top of budget but just familiarity I would be willing to do it
-s and b klassic 3-12 or 4-16
- zeiss v4 4-16

Killed lots of critters and have had lots of good experiences with multiple Zeiss V4 4-16X...

Also a big S&B Fan - that 3-12x classic is a tremendous killing scope.

Any of the scopes on your list will serve you very well for southern hunting. Welcome to the forum. It's a good one.
