How many grains of h1000 are you loading to? Been pretty disappointed with N565 velocity’s in my 22” so far

565 is pretty similar to h1000

UM and Midway are basically the same price in the 116 TMK. That’s fine, they are priced the same in Sierra’s site.

There are other vendors offering cheaper if you look.

They’ll probably work anyway. Sierra is very conservative with the recommendation.

Sierra doesn’t have a min twist that I saw on their website for the 153’s. The box shows a the 7.5. I’ll give it a shot.

According to the Berger calculator, my rifle with a 1:8” would be about 1.40 SG at 0 feet and 1.62 at 4K feet where I live.

Is 40 seeing pressure? I was going to try to go lapua lrp with 41 grains of h4130 and a Remington magnum primer.

Crazy fast in my books. 130fps faster then 6.5prc with 16grs more powder behind it.

Also the 153s stabilize fine in 1in 8 at near sea level.

6.5 CM 24” barrel. 40 gr H4350

my 24” proof barrel shoots the 153 Berger at 2650fps behind 40gr H4350.
And a 24” factory tikka barrel shot the same load at 2570fps.

I don't know who is publishing Sierras data but they lost me on reloading data. Its retarded. Take H4350 in 22-250 22-250AI and 22creed for example. They list a 22-250rem using .3 grains more than AI and don't list it for creed at all. The regular can take 35.3 the AI can take 35 and I shot a barrel out with 42gr in AI with 75amax. No I don't have pressure testing equipment but read that again lol.

Nothing against the bullets but just take a look at the load data. Especially comparing standard to ackley and creedmoor.

If I recall correctly, my load for a SAAMI 22-250 Tikka with 88 Horns was 34.5gr of H4350… 2920 out of a 19”…
