My 88’s came in. Used a little under 88 eldm load data just to start. Seated about .040 off lands.

Tikka action with an ace 18” barrel 7 twist.

Anyone know the ogive length of the 88TMKs?

I've been wondering if I can make them work in an AR mag (2.325" without windowing, ~2.365 with windowing the magazine). I can get 80 ELD-M to work okay at around 2.325", but these are a little longer OAL than the 80s.

Measured using crappy Hornady comparator and calipers.

Thanks for posting that. Looks like the ogive is completely out of the case neck @ 2.325". My 88 ELD-M weren't. Time to try them out.

Nice shooting dude, what mags are you using in the Tikka?

This set up is in a KRG Bravo stock using poly 6 arc MDT mags.

I have a tikka 6 arc arc as well with factory bottom using “factory” mags. [mention]pods8 (Rugged Stitching) [/mention] sent me some prototypes he’s been working on and seems like he’s got it nailed down for the ARC mags. Be on the look out for the hose once he finalizes and releases them.

H1000 2910fps super low es
Very windy ~20-30mph

Loaded and shot 3 (new scope) to find pressure, backed off 2 grains loaded 7 and fired this group. Probably safe to assume these will pound knot holes.

Not sure if this is by design but the bearing surface diameter is .264near boattail junction and .2635 forward of that.
