New TMK announced

If a bunch of folks dump things I’ve already used and enjoy using, I will be quite happy. A bunch of TMKs, ballistic tips, ELDMs, etc. that are no longer flavor-of-the-month would be quite welcome in my reloading cabinet at half price.
I would love to see that with Trijicon, but I doubt it happens!

What really interests me in the Classifieds, are the patterns of what shows up often, vs what shows up rarely. People seem to hold on to quality gear, and seem to only part with it most often when upgrading.

Eh...what?

Can you explain exactly what metrics you're going by in defining "preferable"?
Even with the 77gr mk seated at saami/ gov specs your bearing surface is below the case mouth and your in the o-give area. This is alleviated by canneluring the bullet and has satisfied the military requirements. The 77 gr tmk has a tip and is around 50 thou longer now this isn't exactly an issue. It's just something to understand that while the tmk has been used with success the 77gr mkx will be a better option in an ar platform better neck tension less bullet in the powder column. I am not saying I haven't loaded the 77gr tmks with success in a gas gun platform just that many ammunition loaders shy away from it due to Saami oal restrictions. The 77gr mk and mkx version will be more popular in gas guns for ammo loaders due to neck tension/bullet creep issues handloaders do not have to worry about.

We're talking 107s right? I think @khuber84 was guessing about 0.020 lower G7. If Pointed, non-nose ring DTACs are .310 and 115 TMK are around 0.290, why couldn't 107 TMK result in a similar disparity compared to pointed 107 SMK and end up at about the same BC as a 108 ELDm?
I also have been sent a testing set of these new Sierra's, and I had the 115's true out at .306. I did only true to 800 yards though.

Just another data point.
