New TMK announced

I’d like to try those 133-35TMKs as well, just put an order in for a 257 wby barrel to repurpose a rifle I don’t shoot a lot anymore

Weatherby cartridges seem to have longer neck lengths than a bunch of the newer designs, makes me wonder if that's an advantage with these longer, heavier bullets...

The 115-117 will probably e hard to beat at prc velocity
It’ll probably give up bc to the 108 but not enough to matter

It will be very interesting to see the comparison between the 6mm 107 and the 115-117.

I’m sure the bc won’t scale 1:1. So for different 6creed, 6prc, and 6UM barrel lengths one will end up being the more efficient combo of speed and BC.

They will probably make about 10k of each. Someone here will buy them, show results and drive the price to infinity.

And then we'll wait 2 years to try the magic pill which ends up being "pretty good ".

My RS crystal ball agrees.
It’s a small club and we ain’t in it.
If you’ve been paying attention the most vociferous are already changing tune on many of the old tried and true rs specials.
Few years ago the ELD-M was the “ELD-Murder” now it’s unpredictable.

The caps on the maven are so aggressively knurled you’re lucky if they don’t twist all the way off walking to your glassing knob. Better glove up if you need to dial

Classifieds finna be lit with 77 and 95 TMKs, 115 Dtacs and all manner of Hornady eld bullets. Then if the scope ever hits bar the doors as a flood of Mavens, trijicon and nightforce hit the classifieds.

I would lean 107 creed, XC or GT
115/7* in the prc/UM
I don’t expect either to have a monster BC nor need one. The old 117 tipped they made “only” had a .270 G7 BC and I suspect the TMK will have a larger Hollow point.

Assuming the 88gr and 115-117gr 6mm both become real, my choice between 6mm GT and .22 GT becomes a bit more difficult.

That 153gr has the potential to be truly devastating. Buffalo, anyone?

Going to try the 115+ 6mm in the 6 UM, and also in an 8 twist 243 Improved. If the 8 twist is an issue, then the 107 for the 243 Improved.
The 88 22 cal is probably the final straw in the decision to rebarrel a Kimber to 22 Creedmoor
