4,5,9,12 all address “will I bring it and will it work well”. Larger diameter pipe seems to help with burn and draw. No need for viewing a heat source. I’ve ran Peax, SO box and SO u turn. So far Peax >SO box >SO U-turn. Ultralight is important, but a couple oz don’t matter quite as much late season, late season hunts just have more weight for cold safety. I have to choke on those words a little as I’m a light is right bc hunter, but it’s true! The couple lbs to bring a stove and stay out longer and dry gear has been huge.

Iv burnt a few stoves until they were almost impossible to put together again.

The thing that I despise the most about my current stove (Seek Outside) is that F-ing roll up chimney. I have yet to be able to F with it without either nearly cutting myself and/or getting soot everywhere on my hands and then my gear. The second most hated thing about my stove is setting the damned thing up with frozen hands and trying to not lose the little nuts and whatnots.

That is super interesting. The first (and maybe the second) time I set up my Seek Outside SXL the stove pipe was really challenging like you mentioned, but now that I've ran it many times it goes together super easy and I get very little soot on my hands. I am burning hardwoods more often than softwoods though so I am guessing that helps reduce creosote buildup and burns cleaner in general.
I actually really enjoy the roll up stove pipe.
The assembly of that stove is a huge PITA though. If you happen to drop a wing nut in the snow... then what?

My design will be the easiest there is to set up. No wing nuts or screws on anything. Will go together 3 times faster! Excited to show you all the finished product but I believe it will be a game changer.
