New tipped 6mm bullet

It's not like a 117 TMK at 2900fps MV won't be messy up close but I can see that point.

If we're talking 6 creedmoor, 2900 FPS 117 probably means 3200+ FPS with a 95 TMK at similar pressures. I'd feel better about the higher sectional density option at 300 fewer FPS from a terminal perspective.

I’d be happy with a factory loading at the 107 level vs the 117, but if this new bullet comes with factory loaded options for 6cm then it’s a winner regardless.

Those photos Form posted of the 95tmk at 2800 impact velocity on a couple elk, were likely inside 250y from a creed capacity case, figure 3150-3200mv for a shorter barrel. If it was a short magnum at 3400mv, range would have been still 400 or less. The BC on the 95tmk is rather anemic, and it's slows down very quickly, luckily the tmk generally upset at very low velocity extending ranges.

Yes and no. I ran it through AB Quantum with their CDM. 8 twist at 3,000 MV at 4500’ DA gets you to ~750 yards before it falls under 1800 fps, and still has 1600 fps at 900 yards. Form has said they’ve tested TMK expansion down to 1400 FPS and it works well.
