New Tikka roughtech amber 300 winmag

Just set it up. Getting dialed in soon. My first tikka. 300wm roughtech ember. Harris bipod, nightforce shv 4-14x56. Will be my new elk gun. I’ll update moa etc after I get it dialed. Bolt action and trigger feel amazing. Happy with purchase so far.

Was setting up for an elk hunt this year but went with a muzzle loader!

Set up is a Zeiss Z6 4x16x50, UM Tikka rings, vertical grip, Mountain Tactical bottom metal, steel lug and trigger spring (1.5 lb), and a 4 port SRS TI Pro muzzle break. Haven't dialed in a load yet but looking at the 200 grain ELDX or the 200 grain Terminal Ascent.

I shoot 200 grain ELDX with H4831SC at 3.34 coal. Shoots 1/2-3/4 inch groups at 2900fps.
