So I bought a new tikka, eurooptic.com has a fire sale on the little ranahan 223 at the moment, and I like a little 223 for varmits, vermin, and cheap target shooting. First impressions were that if felt well, balanced great, and would be an awesome carry rifle. Wasn't sure what to expect from it as a target rifle as it has a light contour barrel vs my upr & varmit offerings. Well the wind wasn't crazy today, down to 10 mph, so off to the range..
Well all but 1 went sub moa, best .27" 3 shot. Very simular point of aim from 50 to 75 gr pills. 2600 to 3200 fps... i think I'm in love. If your on the fence, these tikka beat the g2 rugers stock for stock like a red headed step kid.
2nd photo is the ruger g2's target, post chassis, its alot better, but even chassied, its not the tikka stock.
